The Smush Team is a fun, smart group of friends that have many years of experience in developing, manufacturing and delivering advanced software and hardware products at previous companies. We also like to fly helicopters, deejay, scuba dive and survive reality TV.

 

Our original idea was to build a better SMS gateway solution for developers, which evolved into also being an affordable mobile solution for small businesses, looking to better communicate with their customers on the go. But how do we make SMS/texting, smarter? Enter, the SmushBox.

 

In 2013, we launched a small Kickstarter campaign for the SmushBox, to test the market, in which we exceeded our funding goal by 175%. A big success! We then made the decision to push forward and start a new technology company, to bring this useful product to the public market.

 

Our goal is to give small businesses and developers the opportunity to actually own and control their own mass mobile messaging, and not have to use expensive third parties or multi-tier texting plans that can add up quickly. We understand and want to help small businesses grow bigger and developers work easier. With the SmushBox, we’re making Smart SMS technology more affordable and available to everyone.
